Athira P Sajeesh is a faculty member in the Department of Journalism. She is a UGC NET qualified Mass Communication and Journalism Post Graduate.

She began her career in journalism in 2014 as a reporter with Reporter Channel, Ernakulam, and later contributed to the Big News online news portal. In 2015, she transitioned into academia, beginning her teaching journey at LISSAH College, Calicut. With over nine years of teaching experience, she has worked with esteemed institutions such as St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, and St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. She holds a postgraduate degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and completed her undergraduate studies at Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur. She qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2019.
